It was a great vacation with family and friends in the midst of raw nature. Children enjoyed every moment of the vacation, they loved the campfire at night, playing football and badminton in the afternoon, walking in the woods. Really loved the warm hospitality of the owners and staffs. Unlimited raw tea, fresh pineapple, Bar-B-Q dinner everything was so good ! Everybody loved it and counting the calender for the next visit.
Best eco resort in sreemangal.The saffs were very friendly.Loved the tour very much.Highly recommend place to stay. They used to serve the most yummy food but now they've started with a restaurant named chamung .The food of the restaurant was fantastic. Highly recommend.
I had the best time being hosted by the Oronner Din Ratri folks, it was memorable. The animals in the property definitely made my stay better. If you get lucky, and the owners have spare time, you may just get blessed with their amazing stories! Definitely going back!
It was our first trip after marriage. Me and my wife totally happy with their arrangements. Nice location; not too far from Sreemangal city. Very quite and peaceful atmosphere. We stayed 2 nights and i can say it was completely worthwhile. As we were new in Sreemangal we supposed to have some help from resort authorities however what we got from them was just unbelievable. Money can not buy this type of help. They managed a CNG for us with a reasonable price for whole day and the CNG driver was very tourist friendly. We felt very safe with them. Nowadays security is the most common concern for tourists but we were totally safe there. Let’s talk about foods. As i live in Germany and missing Bengali foods badly i was expecting Bengali foods but i wasn’t sure that I’ll get it or not. However when i was there it was really wonderful experience with their catering service. I can give 10 out of 10 for foods. Whenever i needed something i got easily. All of the resort staffs were very friendly and helpful including the manager brother. Every one of them should get a heartfelt thanks. The most beautiful thing of this resort is Kumkum apu & Shammi apu. The most beautiful two souls. Every moment we got help from them which was very special. I can say I’ll be there again and again. After all, it’s a good choice for vacation with family & friends. For newly married couples it would be very nice and special location to stay.
In first day, I was in the bamboo house. We celebrated my birth day there. We brought a cake and celebrated my birth day at the cottage. I took some pictures and had fun with my younger brothers. The next day we had breakfast there and moved on to the wooden house. Since it was cold, the wooden house was perfect for warmness. In the night we had a campfire. It was very nice. The next day, I had to leave. I wanted to stay there more. The resort is one of my favorite places to explore.

Amazed with the stunning view of the tea garden in the front, we spent one night in this resort. We stayed in an eco cottage on the 2nd floor, enjoying a rainy morning along with the chirping of birds. The eco room as well as the washroom were clean and fully furnished. Their service was top-notch and quick whenever we approached. The yard of the resort is decorated with marvelous flowers, multiple dolnas, and a pond where you can sit and spend beautiful time with your loved ones. Beside the pond, there is a small playground, which can be best used if visiting with a group. Considering the price, the eco cottage, including the resort area, should be a wonderful deal. The best night view can be enjoyed during a full moon night, if you are lucky enough.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at “Oronner Din Ratri”, an Eco Resort in Sreemangal, Sylhet, and it was an absolute delight! The resort is nestled amidst tea gardens, offering stunning views of the surrounding nature. The cottages are cozy and comfortable, and you can truly feel like you're close to nature. The food was delicious and homely, which only added to the overall experience. However, what truly stood out to me was the staff - they were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. But the cherry on top was the owner herself, who came to check on us and see if we were enjoying our stay. She was incredibly humble and personable, which only added to the charm of the resort. Overall, I would highly recommend Oronner Din Ratri to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, surrounded by nature and with exceptional hospitality. It's an experience that I'll always cherish, and I can't wait to go back!
It was a very nice experience staying there, the view from the resort is extremely beautiful and the cottages are really relaxing and provide an escape into nature's bliss. The owner was very thoughtful, jolly and kind. Plus point: There was a cute cat there along with some cute dogs , she's very friendly.
Recently stayed on this resort. Just amazing. Although space is small but overall outstanding. Recommended for everyone to stay there. As a eco resort best in Sreemangal. Especially the bamboo cottage simple decoration but amazing.
The view and ambiance were really good. As well as the people providing services. The food was cool as well. The location is a bit inside so the road becomes very unusable due to rainfall. They don't have AC in their rooms so that could be a problem in summer if you used to be in AC. But overall it was a good experience.
This eco-cottage offers an absolutely stunning view! The small flower garden adds a lovely touch, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the mornings, dipping my feet in the pond (though swimming isn't recommended as the water isn't suitable) while taking in the breathtaking view of the nearby tea garden. The remote location is both a blessing and a curse. While it adds to the tranquility, it does mean food isn't provided on-site. However, they do partner with two local restaurants. I tried both. Chamung Restaurant had amazing food, but be prepared for a long wait due to the distance. Unfortunately, the other restaurant's food was quite poor. The service at the cottage itself was excellent, and they provided a nice, basic complimentary breakfast. This is a perfect getaway for couples or small families looking for a quiet retreat. The adjacent field is great for kids to play, and the well-maintained garden is simply beautiful. Highly recommend for those seeking peace and stunning scenery!
Stayed at Oronner Din Ratri in late July 2025.. the resort is beautifully set among peaceful tea gardens. The rooms were neat and comfortable. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, especially Mr. Taposh and Shawon — they made our trip feel effortless. It has an eco-friendly vibe and offers excellent value for money. Highly recommended for couples or families looking to relax and reconnect with nature

Both room (Eco and AC) are amazing. View is also good. Location is far from town ara getting auto or CNG is hard.
I have nothing but only good memories with them..i stayed at the tower building, I haven't checked out yet, but still writing the review bc I'm satisfied with their service. Food: only had the complimentary breakfast, food was amazing. Ambience: amazing both eco cottage and the newly built resort of the Tower building. Eco cottage has tea garden and a beautiful water body with water lilly. The resort one has a beautiful creek running beside the resort. The only problem is the location. But I would recommend walking because it's a 10 minutes walk and feel much better than staying inside a auto or CNG in the bumpy roads.
The place was very well organized and maintained nicely. The rooms were very neat and clean. The food was top-notch and the location is perfect for this.
Budget friendly Resort. I would recommend to stay in Kanon Non AC room. We stayed there 5 April on Sunday and we booked two rooms. Their management was so good and helpfull. We had some issues with Outside restaurant and their manager Shawon took action immediately and they gave us full refund. Breakfast was super good, 10 out of 10. Note : buy food from resort or take CNG to buy food. Their stuff will guide everything.
Rooms is very creative and decorated.The owners are really care about their property.Staffs behave is quite friendly and helpfull.There eco cottage us the best in Sreemangal. Main Problem : The Food.I suggest that remove the “Paharchora restaurant “ from your list.According to their price the quality of their food is very bad.Like 3/10 . Add another qualityfull resturant if you can or you make the foor for your guests. The location is slightly far from main road like you have book a private vehicle for any kind of transport.You cannot get any local transport from there .
If you wish to have a quiet place with greeneries, flowers and Tilas' than that's your spot. Mainly during the monsoon period. But it was quite far from the main road and the connecting road was muddy, slippery and not that much joss!
This eco-resort is a perfect place for anyone who wants to stay close to nature. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. During our two-day stay, they made us feel completely at home, which made our experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and truly enjoyed our stay. The only suggestion we have is to address a few issues in the Dharani Cottage room. The room amenities should have included basic items such as tissues and toothbrushes.
